Education

In 1983 Valentyna Aranchii graduated from Poltava Agricultural Institute and gained the qualification of an organizing economist of agricultural production. In 2009 she graduated from Poltava State Agrarian Academy and gained the qualification of a financial specialist.

Postgraduate studies

In 1990 Valentyna Aranchii embarked on postgraduate studies at Kyiv National Agrarian University (Department of Economics). In 1995 she defended her dissertation on the topic “Economic efficiency of beef in the meat sub-complex of the agro-industrial complex (based on the materials of special farms of Poltava region)” at Schlichter Research Institute of Kyiv and took a scientific degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences.

Valentyna Aranchii is a PhD in Economics of Enterprises and Forms of Economic Management (supplement to the diploma KN №008359 dated 29/04/05).

Academic titles

In 1998 Valentyna Aranchii was conferred the academic title of Associate Professor.

In 2010 she received the academic title of Professor.

In 2018 – was elected as Academician of the Academy of Higher Education Sciences of Ukraine.

In 2019 – was conferred the honorific title “Honored Master of Science and Engineering of Ukraine”.

Work experience

  • In 1983 Valentyna Aranchii started working in the specialty (Economics and Organization of Agricultural Production) holding the position of an accountant of the department and then a labour remuneration economist at Dymytrov specialized farm in Orzhytsia district, Poltava region.

  • She worked as a teaching assistant of the Department of Agricultural Production Organization at Poltava Agricultural Institute.

  • Since 1997 Valentyna Aranchii was an assistant professor (Department of Organization of Agricultural Production), later – the Head of the Department of Finance and Credit, since 1999 – the Dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance.

  • She was appointed as a Professor of the Department of Finance and Credit on September 1, 2004.

  • In 2008 Valentyna Aranchii was promoted to the position of the First Vice-Rector of Poltava State Agrarian Academy and appointed as Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Economics and Business, which was created by combining two faculties: Economics and Management and Accounting and Finance.

  • Her pedagogical experience in higher education institutions of the III-IV level of accreditation is 25 years, all of them are in PSAA.

  • Valentyna Aranchii as a Professor of the Department of Finance and Credit teaches such subjects as Finance and Business Finance. She is fruitfully engaged in scientific and methodological work, supervises PhD students in Economics and Management of Enterprises. Valentyna Aranchii is the author of the manuals approved by the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine: “Business finance”, “Business financial activity”, “Finance”, “Money and credit”, “Information systems and technologies in financial institutions”, “Current issues in accounting”, “Accounting and financial vocabulary”.

Achievements

Since 2011 Valentyna Aranchii has held the position of the Rector of Poltava State Agrarian Academy. During her authorities term, she has been contributed to improving the facilities of the higher education institution, attracting the investment of private businesses operating in the agricultural market of the region in order to develop and re-equip the Academy’s facilities.

With the effective support of Valentyna Aranchii as the Rector, the work of scientific laboratories is certified, in particular: Laboratory of Agri-Environmental Monitoring, which is certified for the right to perform measurements according to 19 indicators during the quality control of soils and primary products of plant origin and Laboratory of Grain Quality used by a large number of farmers in Ukraine. The activities of Alternative and Renewable Energy Laboratory, NAKA Training and Exhibition Centre, Intellectual Property Centre have been improved.

Valentyna Aranchii has taken significant action to organize the operation of the Work Training Unit for Selection and Seed Growing composed of 3 powerful laboratories: Scientific Laboratory for Winter Wheat Breeding, Scientific Laboratory for Grain Legume and Cereal Breeding, Scientific Laboratory for Selection, Seed Growing and Varietal Farming Practices of Soy, and the varieties bred there are recognized far beyond the country. Thus, long hard work in combination with a successful personnel policy contributed to succeeding the higher education institution, so the result was the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science dated November 19, 2019, according to which the opening of a center for the collective use of scientific equipment, in particular Laboratory of Modern Methods of Agronomy and Acceleration of Plant Breeding, based at the Academy, was financed. Since then, the nationwide scale of the scientific activity of the Academy has become of greater importance.

Thanks to the Rector’s support, the research work of the higher education institution is also done within the framework of the research theme “Development of the agro-industrial complex on the basis of rational use of nature” (state registration number 0117U003104); “Justification of methods of information and advisory support of the agroindustrial sphere” (state registration number 0117U003098).

As a leader and a scientist, Valentyna Aranchii pays special attention to the organization of educational and scientific activities of the Academy’s units. In particular, educational services have been diversified up to 22 educational programs. The Specialized Scientific Council D 44.887.01 for the defense of dissertations in Economics was opened. 10-12 postgraduate students and 1-2 doctoral candidates defend their dissertations annually.

In general, due to the good management policy of Valentyna Aranchii, 88% of the academic staff have scientific degrees and academic titles, which is the highest rate in the region.

With the direct involvement of Rector Valentyna Aranchii, the international activity of the Academy has been intensified – more than 50 agreements with foreign universities, institutions and organizations from 23 countries have been concluded. The agreements are directly aimed at improving the practical training of teachers and students. The persistent, efficient work has helped the Academy to rank high among the institutions of higher education in the country.

Valentyna Aranchii’s scientific achievements are presented by 223 works: 100 research papers, among them a number of monographs; 95 scientific and methodological papers; 28 articles of journalistic content. Besides, she is engaged in the inventive work, she is the author of 16 patents for invention and utility models, two of which are awarded with Diplomas and Gold Medals at the International Exhibition of Inventions (Iasi, Romania, 2013).

Pedagogical, scientific, social and administrative activities of Valentyna Aranchii are aimed at improving the training of highly qualified specialists for both the agrarian and other sectors of the national economy of Ukraine by closely combining the educational process with production, as well as forming a high sense of patriotism in students, national consciousness, civism, high professionalism in performing the tasks of guaranteeing food security of our country.

For her personal contribution to the development of higher education and higher agrarian education of Ukraine, Valentyna Aranchii was awarded with the Honorary Certificate of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, departmental honours of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine: “High Achiever in Education of Ukraine” (2000), “Honour Badge” (2004) and “Second-Class High Achiever in Agrarian Education of Ukraine” (2006), as well as with the certificates of Poltava Regional Council and the regional state administration. The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine thanked officially for her high managerial competence.

Other Valentyna Aranchii’s achievements are the following:

Освіта

У 1983 році закінчила Полтавський сільськогосподарський інститут, кваліфікація за дипломом – економіст-організатор сільськогосподарського виробництва. У 2009 році закінчила Полтавську державну аграрну академію, кваліфікація за дипломом – спеціаліст з фінансів.

Аспірантура

1990 році вступила на заочне відділення аспірантури Київського національного аграрного університету (на кафедру економіки). У Київському науково-дослідному інституті імені Шліхтера у 1995 році захистила дисертацію на тему «Економічна ефективність яловичини в м’ясному підкомплексі АПК (на матеріалах спецгоспів Полтавської області)», здобувши науковий ступінь кандидата економічних наук.

Досвід роботи

  • Після закінчення Полтавського сільськогосподарського інституту у 1983 році за державним розподілом студентів була направлена на роботу в спецгосп імені Димитрова Оржицького району Полтавської області (її спеціальність – «Економіка і організація сільськогосподарського виробництва»), де була призначена на посаду бухгалтера відділення, згодом економіста по оплаті праці.
  • Працювала асистентом кафедри організації сільськогосподарського виробництва Полтавського сільськогосподарського інституту.
  • З 1997 року Валентина Іванівна Аранчій – доцент кафедри організації сільськогосподарського виробництва, з 1998 року – завідувач кафедри фінансів та кредиту, з 1999 року – декан факультету обліку та фінансів.
  • Призначена на посаду професора кафедри фінансів і кредиту з 1 вересня 2004 р.
  • У 2008 році була переведена на посаду першого проректора Полтавської державної аграрної академії й призначена директором Навчально-наукового інституту економіки та бізнесу, який створено шляхом об’єднання двох факультетів: економіки і менеджменту та обліку і фінансів.
  • Стаж педагогічної роботи у закладах вищої освіти ІІІ-ІV рівня акредитації 33 роки, і всі вони в ПДАУ.

Здобутки

З 2011 року В.І. Аранчій обіймає посаду ректора Полтавського державного аграрного університету. За період роботи на посаді сприяє зміцненню матеріальної бази закладу вищої освіти, залучаючи для розвитку та переоснащення матеріальної бази академії інвестиції приватних компаній, які працюють на аграрному ринку області.

За дієвої підтримки В.І. Аранчій, як ректора, сертифіковано роботу наукових лабораторій, зокрема: «Лабораторії агроекологічного моніторингу», яка атестована на право проведення вимірювань за 19 показниками під час контролю якості ґрунтів й сировини рослинного походження та «Лабораторії якості зерна», якою послуговуються значна кількість аграріїв України. Поліпшено діяльність лабораторії альтернативних та відновлювальних джерел енергії, навчально-виставкового центру «НАКА», Центру інтелектуальної власності.

В.І. Аранчій доклала значних зусиль для організації роботи Навчально-виробничого підрозділу із селекції та насінництва, у сладі якого 3 потужні лабораторії: «Наукова лабораторія селекції озимої пшениці», «Наукова лабораторія селекції зернобобових та круп’яних культур», «Наукова лабораторія селекції, насінництва та сортової агротехніки сої», а виведені в них сорти визнані далеко за межами країни. Отже, довготривала кропітка праця у поєднанні з вдалою кадровою політикою сприяли визнанню успішності закладу вищої освіти, тож наслідком стало рішення МОН України від 19.11.2019 р., згідно з яким, на базі академії профінансовано відкриття центру колективного користування науковим обладнанням, зокрема «Лабораторії сучасних методів агрономії та прискорення селекції рослин». Відтепер посилилося державне значення наукової діяльності академії.

За підтримки ректора науково-дослідна робота закладу вищої освіти також здійснюється в межах науково-дослідної теми: «Розвиток АПК на основі раціонального природокористування» (номер державної реєстрації 0117U003104); «Обґрунтування методів інформаційно-консультативної підтримки агропромислової сфери» номер державної реєстрації (0117U003098). Як керівник та науковець, особливу увагу В. І. Аранчій приділяє організації освітньої та наукової діяльності підрозділів академії. Зокрема, за її каденції академія розширила спектр освітніх послуг до 22-х освітньо-професійних програм. Відкрито спеціалізовану вчену раду Д 44.887.01 із захисту докторських і кандидатських дисертацій з економіки. Щорічно 10-12 осіб захищають кандидатські дисертації та 3 і більше – докторські. Загалом вдала управлінська політика В.І. Аранчій сприяла тому, що 88% науково-педагогічних працівників академії мають наукові ступені і вчені звання, що є найвищим показником у регіоні.

За безпосередньої участі ректора В.І. Аранчій активізовано міжнародну діяльність академії – укладено понад 50 договорів з іноземними університетами, установами й організаціями 23-х країн світу. Договори безпосередньо спрямовані на поліпшення практичної підготовки викладачів і студентів. Наполеглива, продуктивна робота сприяла тому, що академія почала займати провідні місця в рейтингу серед закладів вищої освіти країни.

В.І. Аранчій займається винахідницькою діяльністю, є автором 16 патентів на винаходи і корисні моделі, два з яких відмічені Дипломами та золотими медалями міжнародної виставки винаходів (м. Ясси, Румунія, 2013 р).

Педагогічна, наукова, громадська та адміністративна діяльність В. І. Аранчій спрямована на поліпшення підготовки висококваліфікованих фахівців як для аграрної галузі, так і для інших галузей національної економіки України шляхом тісного поєднання освітнього процесу з виробництвом, а також формування у студентів високого почуття патріотизму, національної свідомості, громадянського обов’язку, високого професіоналізму у виконанні завдань з гарантування продовольчої безпеки нашої держави.

За особистий внесок у розвиток вищої освіти та вищої аграрної освіти України нагороджувалася Почесною грамотою Верховної Ради України, відомчими нагородами Міністерства освіти та науки України й Міністерства аграрної політики та продовольства України: «Відмінник освіти України (2000 рік), «Знак Пошани» (2004 рік) та «Відмінник аграрної освіти України ІІ ступеня (2006 рік). За уміле керівництво закладом вищої освіти має подяки Міністра аграрної політики та продовольства України, грамоти Полтавської обласної ради та обласної державної адміністрації.

Публікації

В. І. Аранчій плідно займається науковою та методичною роботою, має власну наукову школу – готує аспірантів, є автором підручників та навчальних посібників для студентів з питань фінансової діяльності підприємств, грошей та кредиту, інформаційних систем і технологій в фінансових установах. Її науковий доробок складає 224 праці: 100 фахових публікацій, серед них і монографії; 95 робіт науково-методичного характеру; 29 статей публіцистичного змісту.
