Training period:

• by the degree of higher education “Bachelor” – 3 years 10 months;
• by the degree of higher education “Bachelor” (reduced term of study) – 2 years 10 months;

Applicants for higher education the first (bachelor's) level in the specialty 201 Agronomy in the educational-professional program Agronomy receive a bachelor's degree in agronomy, which is fully prepared to perform functional professional, organizational, managerial responsibilities in production.

Applicants for higher education the second (master's) level in the specialty 201 Agronomy in the educational-professional program Ecological crop production and educational-professional program Seed production and seed science receive a master's degree in agronomy, have advanced scientific and pedagogical training, which allows to work in education, science research institutions and hold senior positions in government.

 

Contingent of students:

• graduates of complete secondary school (11 classes);
• graduates of higher educational institutions I-II of accreditation levels. Training on the reduced term.

Admission examinations:

• on the basis of complete general secondary education: EIT certificates in the disciplines, which are provided for in the rules of admission to the PSUA in 2021;
• on the basis of the Junior Specialist degree certificates in disciplines, which are provided in the rules of admission to PDUA in 2021, professional exam;
• on the basis of the Bachelor degree: the foreign language, professional exam.
• on the basis of the Specialist degree, Master degree (second higher education): foreign language, professional exam.

Specialists are trained:

• at the expense of the State Budget of Ukraine;
• at the expense of legal entities;
• at the expense of individuals;
• at the expense of preferential long-term loans.

In the process of learning the applicant has the opportunity to:

• take an internship abroad
• under the program of gaining farming experience in Germany
• under the program of seasonal agricultural work in Great Britain, Denmark, Ireland
• opportunity to do internships and studies at universities in Germany, Austria, Poland, Hungary.
• gain research skills and 2 working professions.

• head agronomist of the farm, management;
• Researcher;
• agronomist-technologist of agrarian enterprises of the production and storage of crop products;
• manager-consultant of representative offices of leading marketing firms operating in the agricultural market of Ukraine;
• advisor, expert advisor;
• credit and insurance expert;
• head of agriculture enterprise.

Functions of professional activity:

• design and organization of production, consulting, research activities;
• management of agricultural productivity formation processes crops and quality of crop products;
• agricultural yield forecasting crops;
• analytical;
• design of agrocenoses and structure of crops in the system of adaptive technologies;
• design and implementation of modern cultivation technologies;
• organization of research and demonstration experiments;
• effective implementation of scientific developments in production.
