The most talented entrants become our students and for six years together with the obligatory professional disciplines study:

  • current trends and current issues of guaranteeing food safety and quality;
  • international requirements for food quality and safety;
  • food and feed hygiene;
  • methods of research of a sanitary condition of foodstuff and forages;
  • control of safety and quality of meat, milk, eggs, fish, honey, etc.
  • "from the field to the table";
  • sanitary measures and certain indicators of food quality;
  • the procedure for inspection and official audit of facilities for the production, processing and circulation of food and feed;
  • risk analysis in the food chain, etc.

Training laboratories and classrooms are equipped with modern machinery and equipment, computer classrooms and a library.

The departments have student research groups that allow more in-depth mastering of professional disciplines that master the methods of laboratory research required for veterinary and sanitary-hygienic control of receipt and slaughter of animals, processing, storage, transportation and sale of animal and plant products, semi-finished products.

Educational and clinical practice of students will be held on the basis of leading enterprises for the production, processing, storage, transportation and sale of food products in Ukraine and in the European Union. Applicants for higher education have the opportunity to undergo an internship - to obtain a driver's license and the rank of junior lieutenant after military training!

After graduation specialists receive a master's degree in food safety and quality and can work in: laboratories of veterinary and sanitary examination of agri-food markets; supermarkets; meat processing plants; dairies; fish factories; refrigeration plants; state control points at the border and transport; the Armed Forces of Ukraine; subdivisions of veterinary medicine (State Food and Consumer Services) in districts and regions of Ukraine institutions of the state and private veterinary medicine, which carry out veterinary-sanitary and sanitary-hygienic control of receipt and slaughter of animals, processing, storage, transportation and sale of products of animal and plant origin.

The list of EIT certificates in competitive subjects submitted by entrants:

  • Ukrainian language,
  • biology or mathematics,
  • chemistry or physics
