International Relations

International activity is an integral part of the Poltava State Agrarian University (hereinafter referred to as the University). The University is looking for concrete ways and means of internationalization of all spheres of its activity, practically adhering to the unique requirements, criteria and experience of scientific and educational work of leading educational institutions abroad, as well as has experience of international cooperation with more than 70 organizations, institutions and institutions of higher education in more than 20 countries.

Among the traditional areas of international cooperation are the improvement of the qualification level of scientific and pedagogical workers in foreign educational institutions; training of specialists together with foreign partners; international scientific conferences, symposia and workshops; membership in international scientific, educational, administrative structures, associations, societies; participation of higher education teachers and applicants in international programs and foundations; coverage and recognition of the University's scientific achievements at the international level; cooperation with twin cities.

Applicants for higher education at our University have the opportunity to have practical training internships (internships) abroad in countries such as Canada, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Slovakia, Ireland, Turkey, Belgium, Bulgaria, the United States, Singapore, China, and even Australia.

Since 2015, the University has been participating in projects on international credit mobility (Erasmus + KA1. Credit Mobility) with three HEIs of the Republic of Poland (Higher School of Trade and Services in Poznan, Higher School of Business in Dombrowa Gurnichi, University of Natural Sciences (Poznan, Poland) and Hohenheim University (Germany) and plans to expand the range of European HEI partners.

The University is a member of the previous editions of Erasmus + program to create opportunities for higher education (Tempus), such as:

1. T_JEP - 10758 - Implementation of the Master's course "Ecological and Economic Plant Production".

2. М_JEP – 22218-2001 - Business Administration in Agriculture.

3. T_JEP-27168 - Creation of the agro-ecological center of Poltava region.

Since 2020, the University has been participating in Project “Enhancing capacity of universities to initiate and to participate in clusters development on innovation and sustainability principles” (UniClaD), Program of the European Union Erasmus+KA2 № 609944-EPP-1-2019-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP.

Since April 2017, the Poltava State Agrarian University is a member of the European Association of Development Agencies (EURADA).

In recent years, the University has been cooperating with the higher education institutions of the Republic of Poland quite fruitfully. Due to this, we are successfully operating an international project "PARALLEL EUROPEAN DIPLOMA", applicants for higher education have the opportunity to obtain 2 higher education, thus obtaining 2 diplomas at the same time (Ukrainian and Polish universities).

To improve the level of knowledge of foreign languages at the University operates "Language Center" and in 2013 with the support of the Consulate General of Poland in Kharkiv and the fund, "Assistance to Poles in the East" opened "the Polish Center".

The Vice-rector for scientific-pedagogical, scientific work, Professor Gorb Oleg, carries out the general coordination of the international activity of the University.
