Educational and Scientific Institute of Communication and Innovation Educational Technology was created in 2009, headed by Sergii Pustovit.

There are the following structural sub-units of the institute:

• development and implementation of up-to-date software;
• informational communication service;
• educational and innovation technology.

Chair: Information Systems and Technology

The aim if the institute is an intensification of introduction of modern educational technologies, wide use of informational implements and hardware in the process of teaching and research activity of teaching stuff.

The main trends of work of the institute are teaching, research, methodical, educational and innovation.

The major tasks of the structural sub-units of the institute are teaching research centers which solve the problems of intensification of theoretical and proficient computer training of specialists, masters, post-graduate students and people working for doctor’s degree by means of creation, introduction and popularization of modern educational and informational methods, programming aids and informational and communicational service. Also teaching research centers combine scientific and trained stuff potential of the institute to activate research and educational and innovation work with using up-to-date information technology. The chair carries out the teaching work, organizes and leads the educational and pedagogical work among students.
